Margate sands’ has hosted thousands of tourists, artists, Victorian bathing machines, families, tribal dancers, carnival seekers, and even Shakespearean thespians this summer. However this October weekend just past the sand was not caressed by feet but torn up by tyres.
The international motocross championship arrived in Margate, racers from the around the world competed furiously from 10am until 4pm.

Our students had a great time, Arturo (a spanish bike enthusiast) said ‘it was my favourite weekend in Margate’, Yousef (a morrocan tour guide) said ‘it was crazy man, they just kept racing & racing’. Our students will be pleased to know that the roaring racing will return in March.
