Broadstairs is a neighbouring town to Margate, famous for its smuggling history and Charles Dickens’ house. Walk around the quaint town, along the clifftop with an ice-cream from Morelli’s (a fabulous ice-cream parlour in 1950s style), and enjoy the sandy beaches and fishing boats moored in the small harbour.
