Sandwich Trip
Now is your chance to say you have had a 'sandwich in Sandwich'! Catch the train with a teacher and go to Sandwich for the afternoon! Go and find out how the town got it's famous name. With its famous historic churches, Guildhall and a great selection of shops, there is always plenty to do! Meet outside the school at 13.30.

Enjoy a trip to Dover with fellow students to see this town and its famous white cliffs. Enjoy a walk through the high street up the promenade and the port. Afterwards, climb to the top of the cliffs for a great view of France and watch all the ships and ferries travelling across or along the English Channel. Catch the train at 09:00!

Here in Thanet we are treated to a feast of summer festivals each varying massively from the last. The final festival of the summer season may just be the finest, it's Broadstairs' famous FOLK week. Folk Week takes place all over the town of Broadstairs with over 500 events throughout the week. We are taking a trip to Faversham Swimming Pool for the afternoon. Not only do they have an inside pool with a Jacuzzi, but they have an outside heated pool! You can enjoy their diving boards, slide into the fun paddling pool and splash in our wild-water rapids pool. They have a brand new cafe which offers fresh coffee, home-made meals and a delicious selection of cakes.
