Organised by Ink Paper + Print, a platform for new makers, illustrators and designers working in contemporary graphic arts and design, this is a Free event. There will be 75+ exhibitors in total across two venues showcasing a range of printmaking, artist’s books, 20th Century design, zines, screenprints, risos, ceramics and contemporary crafts. This is an opportunity to see contemporary printmakers and makers showcasing their work.

Come and see the fireworks light up the sky over beautiful Viking Bay. Join fellow students to catch the bus at 7pm. Hot and Cold food on Victoria Gardens and the Bandstand kiosk Entertainment at the bandstand from 6pm featuring This Little Girl and The DilliCats Firework display at 8pm*

Catch the train with a teacher and visit Whitstable. Known as the ‘Pearl of Kent’, Whitstable is famous for its oysters, which have been collected in the area since as far back as Roman times. Whitstable’s distinctive character is popular with tourists looking for a great meal, walk or pub.

An event every day that begins at 7:45am, repeating until November 10, 2018
Enjoy full day excursion to Cambridge, with the king of the tours himself, Robin. Cambridge is one of England’s two great university cities. Visit a wealth of galleries, museums, go shopping, or just sit down with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. The minibus costs £30 and you must pay by Wednesday.

Westwood Cross has announced its annual Christmas Lights Switch on event for Friday 16th November from 4pm. Loved by locals, the free event is expected to attract thousands of visitors. The popular shopping centre will officially launch the season in style, revealing the stunning new Christmas lights display and spectacular Toy Fort Grotto with its six meter high turrets.
