Afternoon activity
An event every week that begins at 3:45pm on Wednesday, repeating indefinitely
Join us every Wednesday after lessons from 3:45pm to 4:45pm. Afternoon activity is about discovering local places, visiting the Turner Contemporary Museum, doing sports at the beach, playing Badminton indoor or enjoying a great documentary at the school. Every Wednesday is something different, come and enjoy with more students!

Quex Park has an array of attractions including a museum of stuffed animals and asian artifacts, adventure golf, a maze, a secret garden, activity centre, craft village as well as cafes and restaurants. There is something for everyone!

This bank holiday catch the bus with a teacher to do the Thanet Tour, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. In the Isle of Thanet you’ll discover a rejuvenated theme park, reinvented economies and a reimagined arts and culture scene. On the Isle of Thanet 15 sandy beaches and bays and a string of pretty villages link Georgian and Victorian resorts.

Catch the train with a teacher and visit Whitstable. Known as the ‘Pearl of Kent’, Whitstable is famous for its oysters, which have been collected in the area since as far back as Roman times. Whitstable’s distinctive character is popular with tourists looking for a great meal, walk or pub.

Join a teacher for a full day excursion to Oxford, one of England’s two great university cities. Visit the Bodleian Library, some of Oxford’s 38 colleges, go for a walk along the River Cherwell brushing the Botanic Gardens, go shopping, or just sit down with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.
