Catch the bus with Alice over to the neighbouring town of Broadstairs. See where Charles Dickens lived and wrote his most famous novels, have a freshly-made ice cream at Morelli’s and walk along the cliff top before returning back to Margate.

There is so much to do in London, whether you want to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, go shopping on Oxford Street, visit the British Museum or just wander around. Meet at the Margate train station at 08:45.

Catch the train with Alice to Canterbury for the afternoon. With its famous cathedral, universities, castle, museums and a great selection of shops, there is always plenty to do. Meet at 13:20 outside the school.
