International Food Evening
Tonight, the club will be open for what is easily the tastiest event of EiM’s social programme. It’s International Food Evening. This is a great chance to taste food from all over the world. Cook your favourite national dish, bring a snack and try the food that the other students have made.

Catch the train with Robin to Canterbury for the afternoon. With its famous cathedral, universities, castle, museums and a great selection of shops, there is always plenty to do. Meet at 13:20 outside the school.

Enjoy full day excursion to Oxford with Alice. Oxford is one of England’s two great university cities. Visit the Bodleian Library, some of Oxford’s 38 colleges, go for a walk along the River Cherwell brushing the Botanic Gardens, go shopping, or just sit down with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.

Tonight the Hawley Club is closed, so why not go to Morgan’s Dance Hall in Margate for the popular Salsa Dancing Lessons? Meet outside the school at 19:30 before walking down to Morgan’s. The lessons cost just £4 for EiM students, so don’t forget your student card. All skill levels are welcome!

Catch the bus with Alice and go to Quex Park for the afternoon. Quex Park will host an exciting new event: ‘Spirit of Christmas’. The event will include a real Ice Rink for skating, a Christmas Market with an eclectic number of stalls selling a range of goods and gifts, and a bar & café where you can get refreshments.

Go to Ramsgate with a teacher and visit this beautiful town and its historical Wartime Tunnels. The tunnels were a shelter during the war for up to 60,000 people. After that, go to the famous harbour and marina for a coffee or Peter’s Fish Factory for award winning.

Catch the bus with Alice over to the neighbouring town of Broadstairs. See where Charles Dickens lived and wrote his most famous novels, have a freshly-made ice cream at Morelli’s and walk along the cliff top before returning back to Margate.
