Catch the train with a teacher and visit Whitstable. Known as the ‘Pearl of Kent’, Whitstable is famous for its oysters, which have been collected in the area since as far back as Roman times. Whitstable’s distinctive character is popular with tourists looking for a great meal, walk or pub.

The 2016 Margate Jazz Festival is to be held across a number of venues in Margate during the weekend of the 23rd, 24th and 25th of September. It will be the 11th staging of the event.
