The RAF Manston History Museum

Adjoining the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum this is also worth a visit. Currently admission is priced at £1.50. The museum stretches across 3 hangars and features a large collection of photographs and memorabilia detailing the history of Manston. This was a Battle of Britain Airfield and many items on display reflect how things were for aircrew during that time. There are complete and partial aircraft on display along with several vehicles. Interesting to see how different the quality was between the German and English flying suits!
