Rochester Cathedral & Castle

Serving as both a defensive building and a palatial residence, Rochester Castle’s colourful history is brought to life through personal audio guides. Learn how, in 1215, King John with aid of 40 pigs helped change the look of the castle forever. Throughout the year the castle and its grounds play host to a number of spectacular events.

    Last admission is 45 minutes before closing time.
