Churchfield House

Churchfield House is a two hundred year old town house situated right next door to our other property, Culver House, in the centre of the town and beside the school.

Accommodation

Churchfield House is fully furnished and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and a sitting/dining-room. Accommodating a maximum of 5 people, it can be booked by the room for individuals or couples or as the entire house for a group or family. In addition there is a private courtyard equipped with garden furniture. The property has individually controlled central heating in all rooms. There is Wi-Fi internet access throughout the house for students bringing their own laptops. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped.

Other features

Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building.
Fresh bed linen and towels are provided weekly.

The accommodation is cleaned throughout once a week but guests are expected to maintain a reasonable level of cleanliness.

Private parking is available (supplement payable)
Option of welcome food pack on arrival (supplement payable)

Churchfield House has a fully integrated fire alarm and smoke detection system and is protected at the front and rear by security cameras.

Tuition

Students staying at Churchfield House may join any of the Standard or Intensive group courses at English in Margate. Individual lessons are also provided at English in Margate in the afternoons.

Christmas Holidays

English in Margate closes for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.
Churchfield House is available during this period for students over the festive period.

Individual lessons and a tailor made programme can be arranged during this period (excluding the official bank holidays) The tuition fees for this programme would be quoted on request.

All students staying at Churchfield House are English in Margate students and therefore have access to all the facilities at the school and are welcome to join the social activities and club evenings.
