Cambridge Trip

Join one of our teacher for a full day excursion to Cambridge, one of England’s two great university cities. Visit a wealth of galleries, museums, go shopping, or just sit down with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. This afternoon why not join a teacher on an afternoon trip to Ramsgate. Visit the newly opened War time Ramsgate tunnels. After that, go to the famous harbour and marina for a coffee or Peter’s Fish Factory for award winning Fish & Chips.

Take the coach with one of our teacher to the famous city of Oxford. There is so much to see in this historic city, from the world renowned University colleges to The Eagle and Child pub where famous JR Tolkien and CS Lewis drank.

By The Sea is an indie and alternative rock music festival at Dreamland: Margate's iconic amusement park. Its lineup is made up of a mix of big-name headliners – think Foals and The Libertines – alongside smaller, underground artists making their way into the scene. This platform not only gives these artists a huge leg-up, but also makes By The Sea a great festival for discovering new and emerging sounds.

Catch the train with one of our teacher to Sandwich for the afternoon. With its famous historic churches, Guildhall and a great selection of shops, there is always plenty to do!

An event every day that begins at 8:00am, repeating until September 29, 2018
Enjoy a trip to Dover with fellow students to see this town and its famous white cliffs. Enjoy a walk through the high street up the promenade and the port. Afterwards, climb to the top of the cliffs for a great view of France and watch all the ships and ferries travelling across or along the English Channel.

Catch the train with a teacher and visit Whitstable. Known as the ‘Pearl of Kent’, Whitstable is famous for its oysters, which have been collected in the area since as far back as Roman times. Whitstable’s distinctive character is popular with tourists looking for a great meal, walk or pub.

Enjoy a day trip to Dover with fellow students to see its famous castle. Take a tour round the keep, climb to the top for a great view of France, visit the secret wartime tunnels and watch all the ships and ferries travelling across or along the English Channel. Meet outside the school at 08.00 or at the train station at 08.45.
