Westwood Cross has announced its annual Christmas Lights Switch on event for Friday 16th November from 4pm.

Loved by locals, the free event is expected to attract thousands of visitors.

The popular shopping centre will officially launch the season in style, revealing the stunning new Christmas lights display and spectacular Toy Fort Grotto with its six meter high turrets.

The show starts at 4pm with the all-important switch on at 6pm and entertainment will continue until 6.30pm.

This year the line-up features popular Abba tribute band, Björn Again and Tyber, lead singer of The Dualers. Joining them on stage will be the ‘Westwood Cross Young Performer of the Year’, 11 year old Mabel Walton as well as other talented musicians and local entertainers.
